As a Performance Testing Expert, you will be responsible for conducting various types of performance testing such as load, stress, volume, scalability, failover, and resiliency testing for enterprise applications. You should have hands-on experience with open-source performance testing tools like JMeter and Jython, as well as commercial tools like LoadRunner. Your role will involve generating comprehensive performance testing reports using open-source tools and troubleshooting performance issues in distributed systems. You should have a deep understanding of container technologies and experience in designing, investigating, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale enterprise systems. Additionally, experience with profiling and tracing tools for memory and CPU optimization is required. It is essential for you to have knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP, to understand how web pages are built and how they function. Strong analytical skills are necessary to interpret data and identify patterns, trends, and issues related to webpage load and performance. The ability to troubleshoot performance issues and identify root causes is critical for this role. As a Performance Testing Expert, you will be responsible for gathering performance requirements, creating test plans and scenarios, developing test scripts in JMeter, and performing load tests. You will need to analyze performance bottlenecks, provide recommendations for improvement, and integrate performance testing into existing CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, you will participate in capacity planning, demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and tuning. Perform network failover testing, routine backup verifications, and disaster recovery preparedness drills. Install and manage Internet Leased Line (ILL) connections, ensuring uptime and failover readiness. Implement and monitor cybersecurity best practices and policies to protect organizational data and systems. Create and maintain documentation on system configurations, SOPs, and troubleshooting procedures. Collaborate with other departments to support software tools, data access, and project-specific IT needs. Monitor and analyze IT performance metrics, identify improvement areas, and present regular status reports to leadership. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and internal IT policies. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in IT operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role. Strong expertise in hardware, software, network administration, and information security. Proven experience in IT support team management, task delegation, and performance monitoring. Hands-on experience with firewall systems, failover testing, ILL installations, and cybersecurity protocols. Excellent knowledge of enterprise-level IT support systems, ticketing tools, and infrastructure diagnostics. Ability to assess and improve existing networks, with a keen eye for identifying bottlenecks or vulnerabilities. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a user-focused mindset. Strong vendor management skills and the ability to negotiate and coordinate efficiently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
