Engineering Manager

Role Overview: As an Engineering Manager, your primary responsibility is to ensure the implementation of a modular, scalable, secure, and robust cloud software framework. You will also be involved in sprint management for development projects, certifications, and regulatory approvals, compliance tracking, 3rd party tech integration, documentation, and QA to maintain the efficiency and performance of the cloud software. Key Responsibilities: - Software Architecture: - Brainstorming and implementing software architecture strategies - Collaborating with developers for smooth development processes - Project Management: - Managing sprints for development projects - Planning and tracking project deliverables and releases - Resource planning and utilization - Compliance and Tracking: - Setting up infrastructure to track key metrics for technology - Ensuring compliance with target KPIs and resolving any discrepancies - Setting up proper reporting for any deltas identified by QA - 3rd Party Tech Integration: - Ensuring seamless integration for 3rd parties - Providing collateral (videos/blogs) to demonstrate API integration - Maintaining regular communication with 3rd parties - Certifications and Regulatory Approvals: - Managing FDA documentation, clinical trials, and approvals - Implementing ISO-13485 SOP and ISO-27001 documentation across systems - Ensuring GDPR and HIPAA compliance along with other necessary accreditations - QA: - Enhancing existing QA coverage - Setting up automated systems to monitor production environment health - Reporting and resolving any identified discrepancies by QA Qualifications Required: - A proactive nature, high EQ, and good interpersonal skills - Experience in software development and management, especially in API development, microservices, serverless systems, and cloud development (2-4 years) - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation, and leadership skills - Experience with hiring and managing a team of at least 10 developers - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred Computer Science and Engineering),
