Overall 6 to 8 yrs of experience in Embedded industry, in software verification or development.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Firmware development, especially in C programming.
Good understanding of protocols like I2C, SPI, BLE etc
Experience in Software integration and verification testing ( White box Testing)
Experience in design & development is mandatory. But this role does not involve development of code, but involves review and understanding the code against the Test Protocols.
Perform Requirement analysis and identify gaps. Identify test scenarios/combinations for the input documents .
Develop software integration test plan and protocols against design input docs & code for embedded device.
Execution of Test Protocols as per the Medical Device regulations.
Experience in regulated industries- Medical, Aerospace and Automotive
Note: The job suits for someone who has good programming skills that can be applied for the review purposes. Other programming languages like C++/C# is also fine, as long as they understand the low-level drivers and willing to work on White box testing involving review of the code, Test protocol development and execution
