Electrical Engineer

Atharva Foundries Pvt Ltd is looking for a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to become part of the team at their cast iron foundry. As the Electrical Engineer, your main responsibility will involve maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing all electrical systems and equipment within the foundry. This includes ensuring the smooth functioning of machinery, setting up preventive maintenance schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Your key responsibilities will include: - Maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems, such as power distribution, motors, control systems, and instrumentation. - Performing preventive maintenance on all electrical equipment to reduce downtime and ensure optimal performance. - Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults, including PLC and VFD systems. - Ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory norms, and foundry regulations. - Collaborating with other departments to identify and execute electrical upgrades and enhancements. - Documenting all maintenance and repair activities. - Engaging in the creation and execution of preventive maintenance programs. - Staying informed about the latest electrical technologies and best practices. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. - Minimum [Number] years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a foundry or heavy manufacturing setting. - Proficient in electrical systems, covering power distribution, motors, control systems, and instrumentation. - Experience with PLC and VFD systems is highly preferred. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Capable of working independently and as part of a team. - Knowledgeable about safety regulations and best practices.
