Electrical Design Engineer

JOB

• Work as a team with other Design engineers
• Report to Senior Design Engineer/ Design Manager
• Design, develop, and test electrical systems for BMUs.
• Create detailed schematics and electrical drawings using CAD software.
• Programming the unit using PLC, VFD, RRC and HMI
• Ensure designs meet project requirements, global safety standards, and customer needs.
• Interact with BMU Design Engineer in completing the design tasks in time and to the intended design requirements
• Should handle multiple projects from design to implementation and testings
• Support Design/Site/Quality team in preparing documentss like O&M manual, SAT, FAT etc
• Prepare technical documentation, including reports, cost estimates, and commissioning protocols.
• Coordinate with manufacturing team till assembly, testing & commissioning
• Visit installations for design validation and correctness of electrical system installation
• Take guidance from senior designers and produce quality design in stipulated time
• Generate innovative solutions, test & implement

Qualification & Experience

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering from an internationally recognized institute
• Interested in Research & Development activity cycles in Electrical Engineering field and related subjects
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of Design experience Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design.
• Proficiency in PLC, VFD and HMI programming
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, circuit design, and power systems.
• Knowledge of relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations. Hydraulics
