As a Functional Consultant with over 6 years of hands-on experience in NetSuite, your primary responsibility will be to lead and champion NetSuite implementation projects. You will interface with various departments within the organization, such as finance, to understand business processes and workflows and apply that knowledge to support the application effectively. Your role will also involve managing SuiteTax and Nexus tax bundles to cater to taxation requirements in India, UK, Singapore, Europe, and the US. You will support and configure end-user requests for new searches, reports, KPIs, and dashboards, align NetSuite to company-specific user forms, fields, and custom records, and conduct detailed discovery sessions to understand business users" requirements. Additionally, you will identify opportunities to improve processes and streamline operations with technology solutions, prepare business/functional requirements documents, collaborate with business and development teams to create comprehensive solution approaches, and configure the NetSuite system to meet business process flows. You will also be responsible for creating training/support documentation, driving end-user training, and collaborating with technical team members to guide the development of customized NetSuite solutions. Furthermore, you will research, design, and present optimal solutions for users, facilitate communications with cross-functional teams, own ad hoc analysis, reporting, and presentation building, and develop reports and dashboards to empower operational and exploratory analysis or aid data-driven decisions. To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, or equivalent experience. You should also possess strong written and oral communication skills, the ability to carry out GAP analysis on current processes, strong presentation and technical writing skills, NetSuite Suite Foundations, NetSuite Certified Administrator, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and demanding work environment. Additionally, having solid functional implementation or support experience in high-tech companies, knowledge of Oneworld finance close functions, intercompany accounting, Project accounting, integration in NetSuite, NetSuite reporting tools, dashboards, NetSuite data migration tools, and experience with NetSuite best practices will be advantageous.,
