As a Data Testing Engineer at Fractal's ReBoot returnship program, you will be responsible for supporting the deployment and monitoring of quality standards. Your responsibilities will include participating in QA teams by managing daily activities, providing training and mentoring, and working with stakeholders to enhance quality standards and testing procedures. You will develop test plans, scenarios, and cases for various testing activities, define and implement standard QA processes, and collaborate with product and development teams to ensure the testing roadmap is aligned with the product goals. To succeed in this role, you should possess 2 to 6 years of software testing experience, with at least 2 years as a QA Engineer or in a similar capacity. You must have expertise in ETL testing, data pipelines, Python, SQL scripting, automation testing, and QA methodologies. Experience with DevOps, Agile environments, and communication skills to engage with stakeholders effectively are essential. Additional skillsets preferred for this role include QA management experience, familiarity with professional software engineering practices, improving product test coverage, and Selenium Automation testing using Python and Pytest. A bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required for this position.
