DevOps Engineer

Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to work with Application teams and developers to facilitate better coordination amongst operations, development and testing functions by automating and streamlining the integration and deployment processes

Skills needed

1. 5+ years of experience and Strong understanding of Azure DevOps, Gitlab etc.

1. Experience in Infrastructure as Code(IaC) tools like Terraform.

1. Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Application insights and Log Analytics for monitoring.

1. Scripting skills (PowerShell) for automation tasks such as Certificates management and renewal.

1. Understanding of Azure API management and other Azure services.

Responsibilities

• Implement CI/CD pipelines for API deployment and management.

• Automate infrastructure setup for APIM using tools like Terraform.

• Monitor the health and performance of APIM services and set-up alerts.

• Implement onboarding framework.

• Perform audits of merge requests including adherence to the API standards.

• Work in collaboration with APIM engineers and cloud architect.

• Regularly conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments.
