DevOps Architect

As a DevOps Architect at our company, you will play a crucial role in scaling systems sustainably through automation and driving improvements to enhance reliability and velocity. Your responsibilities will include designing, building, and managing cloud-based environments supporting SaaS offerings on a microservices, container-based architecture like Kubernetes. To excel in this role, you should be a motivated self-starter, possess strong problem-solving skills, and be prepared to tackle challenges head-on. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and automation of pre-production deployments and infrastructure. - Design, develop, and implement software for deployment automation, packaging, and monitoring visibility. - Identify areas for automation to enhance time efficiencies and reduce risks. - Troubleshoot service bottlenecks across the software stack. - Monitor system availability, usage, and overall health. - Provide timely support to the engineering team. **Qualifications Required:** - 10 years of overall experience with 7+ years in development or application engineering in languages like Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++, or similar object-oriented languages. - Experience in architecting cloud-native CI/CD workflows and tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity, GitLab, etc. - Proficiency in architecting, designing, and developing applications on Cloud platforms like Azure, AWS. - Familiarity with Configuration Management platforms like Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible. - Previous experience in architecting highly available systems with load balancing and horizontal scalability. - Ability to lead technical discussions and promote the adoption of new technologies and practices. **Additional Details about the Company:** UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider that has been partnering with leading companies for over 20 years.
