Join the STAAT Insights team to implement natural language projects and scale out the production of financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of present-day NLP/NLG/AI/Client capabilities, along with strong software engineering and analytical skills to identify appropriate solutions to address business needs and enhance operational efficiencies. Experience in financial services is strongly desired. An individual must have a strong passion for automation, innovation, and data immersion to extract meaningful insights. Key Responsibilities: - Experience with AI/ML and working with internal data scientists, business teams, and the NLG team to implement production-grade NLG solutions. - Proficiency in backend Java (Spring/Spring Boot) to develop robust and secure services. - Well-versed in basic concepts and steps in text processing and NLP such as regular expression-based searches, tokenization, stemming, lemmatization, and large-scale text pre- and post-processing. - Expertise in working with and building RESTful APIs, web services, and/or GraphQL APIs. - Experience with API security frameworks, token management, and user access control, including OAuth, JWT, etc. - Strong foundation and understanding of relational and NoSQL database principles. - Previous experience in developing production-quality Python and/or Java code with a strong adherence to software development fundamentals such as code quality considerations, automated testing, source version control, and optimization. - Experience working in a cloud environment, preferably Azure.
