As a SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) at Cloudologic, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing SQL Server 2022 environments both on-premises and in Azure. Your expertise in backup/recovery, security, schema management, and Azure IaaS/PaaS SQL databases will be crucial in ensuring database availability, security, and performance while supporting development and operational teams. Key Responsibilities: - Managing and administering SQL Server 2022 databases. - Performing database backup and recovery operations to ensure data integrity and availability. - Handling import and export of data from various file formats (CSV, XLSX, TXT, etc.). - Implementing and managing database security, logins, and user permissions. - Configuring and managing different database recovery models. - Designing and maintaining schema-based management for efficient database organization. - Managing and maintaining Azure IaaS/PaaS SQL Databases. - Performing BACPAC export/import operations for database migration and archiving. - Conducting backup and restoration of Azure PaaS databases. - Monitoring database performance and troubleshooting issues proactively. - Collaborating with development teams to support database design, queries, and performance optimization. Required Skills & Experience: - 5+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA (including SQL Server 2022). - Strong knowledge of database backup/recovery processes. - Experience with data import/export from CSV, XLSX, TXT, and other formats. - Proficiency in SQL Server security management (logins, roles, permissions). - Hands-on experience with database recovery models and schema-based management. - Strong knowledge of Azure SQL Database (IaaS & PaaS) administration. - Experience in BACPAC operations and Azure PaaS backup/restoration. - Proficient in T-SQL scripting and automation. - Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced GoldenGate Specialist to become a part of our enterprise technology team supporting SBI Bank's core database replication and data migration projects. The perfect candidate should possess practical experience in setting up and managing Oracle GoldenGate environments to ensure real-time data replication, high availability, and business continuity. Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and supporting Oracle GoldenGate replication across various database platforms. You will be responsible for performing installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of GoldenGate components in both production and non-production environments. Monitoring and optimizing replication performance, latency, and throughput will also be a key part of your role. Collaborating closely with DBA teams, developers, and business stakeholders to define replication requirements and strategies is essential. Additionally, participating in data migration and disaster recovery planning using GoldenGate will be part of your duties. You will be expected to create and maintain technical documentation for all GoldenGate configurations and procedures, as well as handle incident, change, and release management processes related to replication systems. Ensuring security, data integrity, and compliance standards are maintained across replicated environments is a critical aspect of the role. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate in enterprise environments. Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills with experience in Oracle Database Administration are required. Knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery architectures is essential, along with proficiency in troubleshooting data replication issues, monitoring lag, and applying patches or upgrades. Experience with heterogeneous replication (e.g., Oracle to MySQL, Oracle to PostgreSQL) is considered a plus. Familiarity with Unix/Linux scripting for automation tasks is preferred. A good understanding of database backup/recovery, performance tuning, and system maintenance is necessary. Prior experience in the BFSI domain, preferably banking, is desirable. Preferred qualifications include an Oracle GoldenGate certification, exposure to cloud-based replication solutions (OCI, AWS RDS with GoldenGate) as an added advantage, and experience with data masking or secure replication practices. Soft skills required for this position include strong communication and documentation skills, the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams, and a problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
