About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

Extract, clean, and preprocess datasets (structured and semi-structured) for modeling and analysis, using tools like SQL and Python/R.
Engineer and select impactful features, then build and optimize classification and regression models using algorithms such as logistic regression, decision trees, random forests, SVMs, and boosting methods.
Conduct rigorous exploratory data analysis (EDA), validate model accuracy, and monitor performance using appropriate metrics.
Collaborate with product, engineering, or analytics teams to operationalize model outputs effectively.
Communicate findings through well-structured visualizations and narratives to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proficient in
SQL
for robust data extraction and manipulation.
Solid programming skills in
Python
, including experience with machine learning libraries like
scikitlearn

XGBoost
, or
LightGBM
.
Strong understanding of
statistical foundations
, including regression, hypothesis testing, probability, and model evaluation technique Practical experience building
