Data Analyst

Job Description: A Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, processing, and performing statistical analyses of data. The role involves using data to identify trends, develop business insights, and support decision-making across departments. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with data tools and reporting systems. Key Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Data Collection & Management Gather data from various sources such as databases, APIs, spreadsheets, and internal systems. Clean, validate, and maintain datasets to ensure accuracy and completeness. Develop and manage data pipelines and workflows. 2. Data Analysis Perform exploratory data analysis to discover patterns and insights. Use statistical methods to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies. Conduct ad-hoc and regular reporting to support business functions. 3. Reporting & Visualization Create dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel. Present findings and actionable insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Automate reporting processes to increase efficiency. 4. Business Support Collaborate with product, marketing, finance, and operations teams to understand data needs. Support business decision-making through data-driven insights. Develop KPIs, metrics, and performance tracking systems. 5. Tools & Technologies Use SQL to query relational databases. Work with data tools such as Python, R, Excel, or Google Sheets. Familiarity with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery). 6. Quality Assurance Ensure data integrity and consistency across all reporting. Identify and resolve data quality issues. Maintain documentation for data definitions, methodologies, and processes. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Knowledge of statistical techniques and predictive modeling is a plus.
