Summary:As a Software Development Engineer – Oracle HCM Cloud Time & Labor, you will lead the implementation and enhancement of Oracle HCM Cloud Time & Labor (T&L) solutions for global clients.You will be responsible for designing and delivering end-to-end Time & Labor solutions that drive accurate time capture, labor compliance, and workforce optimization"”ensuring seamless integration with Core HR, Payroll, and Absence Management modules.This role demands a balance of strong functional leadership, stakeholder management, and delivery excellence.
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Oracle HCM Cloud Time & Labor solutions.
  • Conduct client workshops to capture time tracking, scheduling, and compliance requirements.
  • Configure Time Entry Profiles, Time Card Layouts, Calculation Rules, Fast Formulas, and HCM Groups.
  • Integrate Time & Labor with Core HR, Payroll, and Absence Management modules.
  • Lead the functional workstream, manage project timelines, and ensure quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with technical teams for integration design, custom reports, and automation opportunities.
  • Drive System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and cutover planning.
  • Lead issue triage and resolution during hypercare and support phases.
  • Provide mentoring and functional guidance to consultants and analysts.
  • Participate in pre-sales, solutioning, and estimation for new Oracle HCM opportunities.
  • Stay updated on Oracle Cloud quarterly releases and lead impact analysis on client environments. Professional & Technical
    Skills:
  • 10–14 years of total experience in the Oracle HCM domain.
  • Minimum 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud HCM Time & Labor.
  • Strong understanding of related modules:Core HR, Absence Management, and Payroll.
  • Experience leading at least two full-cycle Oracle Cloud HCM Time & Labor implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of Fast Formulas, labor rules, and time processing architecture.
  • Proven ability to manage clients, drive workshops, and lead project teams across global delivery models.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to leverage AI or automation frameworks (e.g., predictive scheduling, anomaly detection, or intelligent test bots).
    Additional Information:
  • The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud Time & Labor.
  • This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
  • Postgraduate qualification (MBA HR preferred) is an advantage.
