About The Role

Project Role :Custom Software Engineer

Project Role Description :Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

Summary:The Node.js Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend services and APIs using Node.js. The role requires strong hands-on experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, microservices architecture, API development, database integration, and cloud deployment practices. The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient server-side solutions while adhering to coding and architectural best practices.Role and Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain backend services and microservices using Node.js.

Build scalable and secure RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end, mobile, and third-party systems.

Design and implement reusable modules, libraries, and backend components.

Work with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other NoSQL/SQL systems.

Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.

Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve system reliability.

Develop backend logic using JavaScript or TypeScript following best coding practices.

Collaborate with DevOps to integrate CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments.

Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and solution design.

Work closely with cross-functional teams including QA, Cloud, Architecture, and Product.Professional and Technical
Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.

Good understanding of Express.js, NestJS, or similar Node.js frameworks.

Experience in building and consuming REST APIs and backend microservices.

Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.

Experience with unit testing frameworks (Mocha, Jest, Chai, etc.).

Proficiency in Git, version control, and Agile methodologies.

Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).

Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures.
Additional Information:

The candidate should have a minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in Node.JS
