The position at Centre for Cybercrime Investigation Training & Research (CCITR) in Bengaluru, Karnataka requires you to handle the training requirements of the center while supporting the Deputy Director and team. Your role will involve supporting the operations of the center in all training-related aspects. Your responsibilities will include designing Cybercrime & Cyber Forensics related courses that cover legal and technical aspects of cybercrime detection and response, with a focus on improving the investigation and prosecution of Cybercrime cases. You will be required to create detailed standard operating procedures (SOP) for digital analysis in consultation with legal advisors and other domain experts. Additionally, you will manage professional relationships with various external stakeholders, including outsourcing companies, to maintain strong working relationships and facilitate good team performance. Your role will also involve supporting the design and development of webinars, conference presentation material, blogs, and social media outreach to assist and educate analysts in the field. The ideal candidate should hold a B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science/Electronics & Communication/Telecommunication or MCA. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Cybercrimes & Digital Forensics, preferably in the IT Industry, is required. You should have a working knowledge of basic and advanced Digital Forensics tools such as EnCase, Forensic ToolKit(FTK), X-Ways Forensics, UFED Cellebrite, Oxygen Forensics, XRY, Hardware tools such as Tableau/Logicube, etc., as well as open-source tools such as Autopsy, Helix3, CAINE, Volatility, etc. Proficiency in oral and written communication skills is essential, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities are required. Fluency in English is a must, and spoken skills in Kannada and Hindi are preferred. Programming or computer-related experience at a medium or higher level is desired. A broad understanding of commonly used operating systems and applications, cyber security vulnerabilities, and the rules of evidence and evidence handling is crucial for this role.
