Role & responsibilities KRA Head of Composite Manufacturing 1. Production & Operations Ensure achievement of monthly/annual production targets as per business plan. Optimize lay-up, curing, trimming, assembly, and finishing processes for composites. Monitor OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) , machine utilization, and minimize downtime. Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement (Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma) initiatives. 2. Quality & Compliance Maintain product quality standards in line with AS9100 / ISO 9001 / customer specifications . Ensure adherence to NDT, dimensional inspection, and testing protocols . Implement zero-defect strategy and reduce rejection/rework costs. Ensure compliance with Factories Act, safety norms, and environmental regulations . 3. Cost & Resource Management Control material wastage, resin/fiber utilization, and consumable costs . Achieve productivity improvements through automation, process optimization, and manpower planning . Prepare and monitor manufacturing budgets and cost-saving projects . 4. People Management Lead, train, and mentor composite manufacturing teams (technicians, supervisors, engineers). Ensure skill matrix development for operators/technicians. Customer & Delivery Ensure on-time delivery of composite parts/components as per customer schedule. Act as a key interface with customers, auditors, and certifying agencies . Manage project milestones and contract commitments . 7. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols in handling resins, chemicals, autoclave operations . As a Structural Draftsman at Kaling Technocrat & Co., you will be an integral part of our structural design team, specializing in precision drafting and detailing for various types of structures. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers and architects to create accurate and professional drawings for residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial projects. Your key responsibilities will include preparing detailed structural drawings such as plans, sections, elevations, and layouts for RCC, steel, and composite structures. You will interpret architectural and structural inputs to develop framing plans, beam-column layouts, footing plans, and reinforcement detailing as per engineer instructions and IS codes. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing viewports, model spaces, and layout sheets with precise scaling and presentation. To excel in this role, you must have proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD, encompassing 2D drafting, viewports, block creation, sheet sets, layer management, and more. A solid understanding of structural systems, elements, connection drawings, and architectural-structural coordination is essential. Job Purpose: To ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality procurement of materials, components, and services essential for manufacturing composite parts for rolling stock (e.g., train and metro carriages), in alignment with production schedules and organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers for raw materials (e.g., glass fiber, resin systems, core materials), tools, and consumables specific to FRP/composite components. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with vendors. Procurement Operations: Raise purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders. Ensure procurement is done as per technical specifications and quality standards. Track and expedite delivery schedules to avoid production delays. Vendor Management: Establish and maintain good relationships with domestic and international suppliers. Conduct vendor assessments and audits in coordination with QA and engineering teams. Cost Management: Drive cost reduction initiatives through alternate sourcing, value engineering, and bulk procurement. Maintain cost sheets and compare quotes for effective decision-making. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, quality standards, and relevant certifications (ISO, IRIS, etc.). Maintain accurate procurement records and support internal/external audits. Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with design, production, and quality teams to understand material requirements. Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for material receipt and inspection.

JOB PURPOSE To design, develop, and validate composite components and assemblies for rolling stock applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards, project requirements, and customer specifications. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Design composite components (e.g., interiors, structural panels, fairings) for rolling stock using 3D CAD software (preferably SolidWorks, CATIA, or Siemens NX). Prepare detailed engineering drawings, assembly models, and Bill of Materials (BOM). Ensure designs comply with relevant rail standards (EN 45545, UIC, RDSO, etc.) and customer specifications. Perform basic structural and thermal analysis in collaboration with FEA teams. Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure design-for-manufacturability (DFM) and cost-effectiveness of composite solutions. Support prototype development, validation, and testing of composite parts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Production, Purchase, and Project Management. Assist in design changes, modifications, and documentation control during the product lifecycle. Maintain project timelines and support technical documentation for client and certification audits. Preferred Experience: Experience in designing parts for metro trains, coaches, or locomotive interiors/exteriors. Exposure to fire safety regulations like EN 45545. Knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.

Aircraft Structure Repair Engineer - Stress with some design experience Experience: 8-12 years Qualification: Bachelors/Masters in Engineering (Preferred Civil / Aero / Mech). Job Description: The job holder is responsible to ensure the timely return-to-service for the commercial Aircraft by providing an optimal structural repair solutions considering the time & cost aspects. This has to be ensured from a design and/or stress perspective for product Safety by engaging the right stakeholders. The various activities to perform are: Search: the right inputs to carry out assessments of a given damage scenario o Query the right drawings for the Aircraft configuration. o Use hand calculations / computer methods. Propose & Analyze: the structural repair solutions for airlines. o Liaise across stakeholders (eg: Design, Stress / Fatigue, Materials, Performance etc.) o Validate the methods applied and various assumptions & data used. o Such that the repair makes the Aircraft airworthy again. o Define maintenance programs. Report: o Prepare the technical justification documents (Design and/or Stress) Approve: o Approve or Secure Approval of the technical justification PM & Business Improvement: o Identify and support local improvement initiatives. o Aligned across various stakeholders. o Ensure timely response, effective monitoring & reporting.
