JOB PURPOSE Lead the end to end implementation of the CLM tool at the Group Level. Add value and expertise (new processes and technology) for contracts workflow configuration, management of the clause library, management of the template library, automation configuration, reporting of CLM metrics, maintaining the training resource center, and the administration of all Full and Lite user profiles and security access protocol across GMR Group. Play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) within with GMR Group by identifying growth opportunities and areas for improvement. Lead design and optimize contract workflows, approval matrices, and automation rules to ensure continuous improvement. Develop a comprehensive change management strategy and training program for successful CLM adoption for GMR Group. Implement risk management frameworks and compliance controls across diverse GMR Businesses. Spearhead transformation initiatives via CLM, including template standardization, clause libraries, reduction of contract cycle time, process standardization and automation ORGANISATION CHART this position will report to CLM - Head KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES CLM Project Planning and Development support: Lead the activity of shaping and developing CLM project plan, including elements of people, process, technology, data and change management and implementing it Lead discussion and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define Project goals, objectives, and success metrics. Develop a comprehensive Project plan, including timelines, resource allocation, budget forecasts, and communication strategies. Lead the design and development for the CLM practice at Group level which involves implementing the tool and provide day-to-day operate services. Provide guidance to other functions/businesses and Pre and Post Contracting Head to ensure a holistic approach to the contract management process. Design a plan for adoption of new GMR business and future acquisitions. CLM Project Organization and Execution support including Change Management: Identify and procure necessary resources for Project execution, including personnel, technology, and any external support. Establish clear governance structures and reporting procedures for the Project and its stakeholders. On-going Communication and Collaboration Continuous Project improvement based on data analysis and identified learnings. Maintain and update metadata fields, contract clause libraries, and templates to ensure accuracy and relevance. Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls to uphold data security and compliance standards. Lead as CLM functional consultant with CLM Implementation partner to design the platform suitable for GMR and implement best practices across Group. Ensure compliance with regulatory and organisational policies in contract management (updating the DOP in CLM based on guidance from Legal, Finance and CLM Head). Support the implementation of audit controls and manage access to sensitive contract information. Collaborate with teams to optimize their use of the platform. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback on system performance and identify improvement opportunities. Continuous collaboration with the Implementation partner, and the AMS team to ensure that SLAs are met. Lead improvement projects to enhance effieicnecy of pre-contracting process and post contracting process. Identify instances for creation of new templates, update clauses based on the as is process KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Additional Details Reporting and Analysis Create report analysis to ensure, CLM adoption across the business units / functions Facilitate important stakeholder meeting and provide update Develop process flow charts and policy documents for the CLM Develop dashboards for KPI analysis for CLM adoption status Perform audits to ensure contract data integrity and adherence to internal policies. Lead Project Management to ensure the KPI's are met by users. Conduct Training as and when required with the user group after identifying gaps. Contract Data Migration and System Configuration: Design and execute contract migration startegies for legacy contracts into CLM platform using automation. Plan and measure the success of transferring data from old systems to the new CLM platform Support data migration efforts and facilitate seamless integration with third-party applications like ERP, CRM, and e-signature tools. Conduct Audit of the migration data to ensure data accuracy Serve as the primary point of contact for the CLM platform (e.g., Icertis, Sirion, etc.), managing user accounts, permissions, and roles. Colloaborate with the Tech Partners, Configure and customize the platform to meet business requirements, including workflows, templates, and system settings. Support integrations with other systems when required. Additionally, collaborate with other system POCs for smooth integration. Partner with IT and CLM support teams for system enhancements and issue resolution User Adoption and Training Plan and implement training sessions & policy/process guides to enable fast and easy adoption of new CLM system to ensure high success rate Create report for Reduction/Improvement in number of SLA breaches, based on contractually agreed limits EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS Technology Vendors, Service Providers, Process consultants INTERNAL INTERACTIONS Senior stakeholders in SLT / GCXOs / CXOs GHB Offices Procurement, IT, Legal, User departments FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS Focus on automation, efficiency and CLM adoption, reporting. OTHER DIMENSIONS Individual contributor role EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS BBA/B.Com or LLB with experience in Business Contracts MBA (preferably in Supply Chain Management Contract Management) Certification in Project Management is preferred Knowledge of contracting process is a must. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE 10-15 years of experience in Project coordination, CLM Implementation, Process improvement, or a related role, with demonstrated success in managing complex initiatives. Key Competencies: Strong understanding of procurement, supply chain, contract management principles, and techno-commercial subjects. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience in developing and implementing Project plans, supporting execution and communication strategies. Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and foster effective collaboration. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project) Demonstrated proficiency in CLM tools such as ARIBA, ICERTIS, etc. Understanding of upstream and downstream functions, when it comes to procurement, legal, and businesses is a must Must to have: CLM Implementation, Project Management Skills, CLM Tool, Good to have: CLM Platform, Tracking all versions of contracts

Preferred Candidate Profile: We are looking for a legally trained and detail-oriented Associate/ Sr. Associate to join our team and support contract lifecycle management (CLM) engagements. The ideal candidate will have experience working in legal operations, contract management, or CLM integration projects. This role focuses on supporting legal teams in streamlining and digitizing contract workflows, ensuring consistency, compliance, and efficiency across contract processes. Incumbent will work closely with internal stakeholders and client legal departments to assist in legal review, standardization of contract templates, clause library development, and post-execution contract management activities Role & Responsibilities: 1) Template Standardization: Assist in reviewing, rationalizing, and updating contract templates (e.g., NDAs, MSAs, SOWs) for consistency, legal compliance, and ease of automation in CLM platforms. 2) Clause Library Development: Help build and maintain clause libraries by identifying frequently used clauses, preferred language, fallback positions, and alternative provisions. 3) Contract Review & Drafting: Review third-party paper for legal and commercial risks, and draft standard agreements in line with organizational playbooks and client preferences. 4) Contract Abstraction: Extract key metadata, clauses, obligations, and renewal dates from executed agreements for input into CLM systems. 5) Contract Data Migration: Participate in legacy contract review and clean-up activities to support migration into CLM systems, including validation and quality control of legal data. 6) CLM Implementation Support: Collaborate with legal teams and implementation partners to support contract process digitization, including legal input on workflow design, approval structures, and clause logic. 7) Playbook Alignment: Work with clients to align contract language and workflows with internal playbooks and legal risk thresholds. 8) Lifecycle Support: Provide support across pre-execution and post-execution contract stages including negotiations, approvals, execution, renewal, and termination. 9) Knowledge Management: Assist in developing knowledge assets such as contract guidelines, clause usage rules, and FAQ documents to support contract teams. 10) Reporting & Analysis: Generate legal-specific reports from CLM systems such as clause deviation tracking, risk flags, and renewal alerts.
