Client Data Manager I

Role Overview: As a Client Data Manager I within the Operations team, your role is crucial in enabling thought leadership and building a risk-aware, empowered team that feels accountable to drive best-in-class service. You will be responsible for reviewing and improving data collection and verification processes, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of KYC records before they are reviewed by the client-facing team. Your advanced organizational skills will be essential in managing multiple tasks and activities, while leveraging software applications and digital platforms to enhance processes and client experience. Key Responsibilities: - Perform day-to-day management of a team, including coaching and providing ongoing performance feedback. - Track individual team members" performance over time to evaluate learning and capability. - Address service issues escalated by internal or external customers effectively. - Act independently and make decisions based on data, insight, and experience. - Create an effective team through continuous communication, timely feedback, and appropriate supervisory practices. - Organize workflow and distribute work appropriately. - Support all aspects of client onboarding, including fulfilling AML and KYC requirements. Qualifications Required: - Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, coach, and motivate teams. - Must be flexible and adaptable to manage interim projects and processes based on business requirements. - Knowledge of banking products. - Proven leader of process and organizational change. - Ability to identify, analyze, plan, prioritize, and solve problems effectively. - Strong communication and presentation skills. Additional Details: Previous experience in AML, Compliance, Fraud, KYC, or Operational Risk is an advantage. Competency in mainframe and PC-based systems, with a strong proficiency in MS Office. Previous experience as a people manager of a high-performing team is preferred.,
