Job Description

Role & responsibilities

collaborating with project teams, generating technical drawings and documentation, performing stress analysis, optimizing designs, ensuring code compliance, and managing project changes throughout the lifecycle

Piping System Design:
Create blueprints and detailed designs for piping systems that transfer fluids like oil, gas, water, and chemicals.
CAD Modeling:
Use CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, AVEVA E3D) to create 3D models and 2D drawings of piping systems and components.
Documentation:
Prepare and review technical documents, including isometric drawings, bills of material (BOQs), and installation instructions.
Stress Analysis:
Conduct stress analysis using specialized software to ensure the piping system's durability and integrity under various operating conditions.
Code Compliance:
Ensure that all designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as ASME and API codes.
Collaboration:
Work closely with project managers, civil, structural, and other engineering teams to develop integrated project solutions.
Design Optimization:
Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
