-Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain software using C++11/14/17 on Linux/Unix environments.
Develop Unit Test Cases for the Application using CppUnit/GMock and other frameworks.
Use XML C++ Parsers for parsing structured financial messages.
Interact with IBM DB2 database, write optimized SQL queries, and handle IBM MQ message queues.
Perform debugging and profiling using tools like GDB, Valgrind, and gprof.
Write and maintain shell scripts and as well as Python & Perl scripts.
Use tools like VS Code, Git (Stash), PuTTY, WinSCP, Jira and ServiceNow for development and collaboration.
Support L3 production issues, ensuring resolution and ownership.
Coordinate with onsite stakeholders (USA/UK) and manage client expectations.
Lead module-level efforts or mentor junior developers as required.

-Mandatory Skills:

Strong hands-on experience in C++ (minimum 5 years to 8 years preferred)
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
Working knowledge of Unix/Linux, along with common shell utilities and commands.
Experience with debugging tools such as gdb, valgrind, and performance profiling.
Proficiency in SQL; hands-on experience with IBM DB2.
Understanding of IBM MQ for inter-process communication.
Shell scripting proficiency. Exposure to Python, Perl or Ruby scripting is a plus.
Knowledge of Financial Markets / FOREX terminologies would be a plus.
Familiarity to SWIFT messaging standards and financial protocols is a plus.
Previous experience working with US-based clients is preferred.
