As a Business Development Associate in the tour and travel industry, your role will involve identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving sales to increase revenue. Your strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and passion for the travel industry will be essential for success. - **Sales & Business Growth:** - Identify and generate leads through online research, networking, and cold calling. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients. - Convert leads into sales, meeting or exceeding revenue targets. - Promote company tour packages, travel services, and special deals to customers. - Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends. - **Client Relationship Management:** - Understand client requirements and provide tailor-made travel solutions. - Offer excellent customer service and resolve inquiries. - Follow up with clients post-trip for feedback and to maintain relationships. - **Marketing & Promotion:** - Collaborate with the marketing team for promotional campaigns. - Represent the company at trade fairs, travel expos, and networking events. - Assist in creating engaging travel content for social media and digital marketing. - **Partnerships & Collaborations:** - Establish partnerships with hotels, airlines, and local travel agencies. - Negotiate deals and discounts with travel service providers. - Develop corporate travel programs to attract business clients. - **Operational Support:** - Ensure smooth trip planning and execution with the operations team. - Assist in handling travel documentation, booking confirmations, and itinerary planning. - Monitor travel trends and suggest new tour packages. **Qualifications & Skills Required:** - Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Tourism, or related field. - Experience: 0-3 years in sales, business development, or the travel industry. - Skills: Strong sales and negotiation abilities, excellent communication, client relationship management, passion for travel, knowledge of tourism trends, proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and digital marketing platforms, ability to work independently and meet sales targets. Multilingual skills are preferred.
