Business Analyst

Job Summary:

The Business Analyst will be responsible for identifying business needs, analyzing processes, and recommending data-driven solutions to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. The role involves close collaboration with stakeholders, product managers, developers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
  
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
  
• Conduct gap analysis between current and desired business states.
  
• Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement system solutions.
  
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
  
• Develop and maintain process documentation, use cases, and business requirement documents (BRDs).
  
• Support project management teams in planning, testing, and deployment activities.
  
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
  
• Ensure alignment between business goals and IT solutions.
  
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business requirements.
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  
• 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  
• Proficiency in tools such as MS Excel, Power BI, SQL, JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
  
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  
• Experience with Agile/Scrum or Waterfall methodologies.
  

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Master’s degree or relevant certification (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or Agile certifications).
  
• Experience with data visualization or analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  
• Domain knowledge in [e.g., Banking, Healthcare, E-commerce, or IT Services].
  
• Familiarity with ERP or CRM systems
