Safety features such as overvoltage protection, undervoltage protection, and fault detection algorithms will be designed to manage potential system failures. In addition, you will be responsible for developing advanced algorithms for predictive modeling, optimal charging, powertrain integration, and energy management strategies to enhance the electric vehicle's performance and efficiency. Collaborating with cross-functional teams will be essential to ensure seamless integration and functionality of the BMS within the electric vehicle. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience in designing lithium-ion battery management systems for electric vehicles, proficiency in hardware design, strong programming skills in languages like C, C++, and Python, and familiarity with battery modeling and control algorithms.
