Backend Developer

As a Senior Backend Developer at our company, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of backend services, with a focus on architecture, security, and performance. You will play a crucial role in designing and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure RESTful/GraphQL APIs using Node.js and Python. Additionally, you will lead the design and implementation of application components, optimize database schemas, ensure high performance, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure RESTful/GraphQL APIs using Node.js and Python. - Lead the design and implementation of application components with a focus on microservices architecture. - Expertly manage and optimize complex database schemas and queries for SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis) systems. - Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, implement caching strategies, and optimize server-side code for maximum speed and scalability. - Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code, conduct thorough code reviews, and mentor junior developers. - Implement security and data protection settings including authentication, authorization, and encryption protocols. - Work with DevOps pipelines for smooth and automated deployment of services to cloud platforms. - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality features. **Required Skills & Qualifications:** - Deep expertise in Node.js and Python with a strong command of asynchronous programming and related frameworks. - Extensive experience with web frameworks such as Django, Django Rest Framework, Flask. - Proven ability to design and implement highly performant and secure RESTful APIs, experience with GraphQL is an advantage. - Expert knowledge of both Relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra). - Experience with cloud computing platforms, proficiency with Docker and Git, and strong testing experience.
