Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Architect to lead microservice migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will translate complex business and technical requirements into robust cloud-based architectures and provide technical leadership. The candidate is expected to have knowledge of on-premise infrastructure components and experience in on-premise to cloud migration.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end cloud migration initiatives from on-premises to AWS and create necessary documentation for microservice migration to EKS.
Perform comprehensive cloud readiness assessments of infrastructure and applications.
Develop migration roadmaps and define strategies based on workload analysis.
Automate deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
Design scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud architectures.
Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams for seamless migration.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
Implement and monitor security controls, ensuring compliance.
Optimize cloud workloads post-migration for performance and cost efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Hands-on experience in AWS migration and architecture design.
Expertise in AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch.
Experience with AWS Migration Hub / MGN (preferred).
Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of virtualization (e.g., VMware) and containerization (EKS, ECS, Fargate).
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
