Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Engineer to design, develop, test, and implement automated systems and solutions that improve efficiency, reliability, and productivity. The role involves working with control systems, robotics, PLCs, SCADA, industrial equipment, and software to automate processes in manufacturing and production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement automation systems to streamline manufacturing and business processes.
Program, configure, and maintain PLCs, SCADA, HMI, and other control systems.
Develop automation workflows, scripts, and test plans for production environments.
Conduct system analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization to enhance performance and reduce downtime.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, maintenance, IT) to define automation requirements.
Integrate sensors, robotics, vision systems, and other industrial equipment with automation systems.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies.
Perform preventive maintenance and continuous monitoring of automated systems.
Document designs, technical specifications, and user manuals.
Provide training and technical support to operators and maintenance teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron, etc.).
Experience with SCADA/HMI development and integration.
Familiarity with robotics, sensors, pneumatics, and motion control systems.
Proficiency in industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, OPC, etc.).
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of safety standards and compliance (ISO, OSHA, IEC).
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹528,470.74 per year
