Job Description


We are seeking an experienced and visionary Assistant Project Manager with prior experience as a software developer to join our dynamic team. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and delivering complex technological projects from initiation to completion. Your passion for innovation, exceptional leadership skills, and strategic mindset will be essential in driving successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing project activities according to defined timelines and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with the team that comprises of project personnel; it includes designers, researchers and engineers.
  • Support the Project Manager in stakeholder communication and project reporting.
  • To create a project plan with details and illustrations to identify the flow of activities needed in order to successfully conclude a project.
  • Assign, schedule and review the project constantly in order to analyze its progress in terms of quality guidelines and time constraints.
  • Executing the project as per the project plan.
  • Identify, track, monitor and communicate project related issues and other variances, scope changes, contingencies that may come up while implementation of actual ideas.
  • Assemble project scope and maintain projects related documentations.
  • Proactively manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies and driving resolution to keep projects on track.
  • Communicate project goals, progress of the project, challenges effectively to clients ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Drive innovation and creative problem-solving within the project team, identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.

Requirements:

  • Looking for overall 2-7 years of experience and minimum 2 years in project management.
  • Prior experience of Software Development is must (Java/ .Net/ Frontend/Angular/iOS/React etc.)
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with scrum or similar SDLC processes.
  • Familiar with using project collaboration tools like, Basecamp, JIRA, Zoho
  • Experience with working towards continuous team improvement.
