In 2009, it was conferred the status of a Deemed to be University by the UGC and MHRD, Government of India. In 2019, the UGC and MHRD classified it as a Category I Institution.

Job Title: Assistant Professor.

Departments: Food Technology.

Education Qualification:

• Ph.D in Food Technology is mandatory
• B.Tech & M.Tech/M.E in Food Technology / Food Engineering / Food Processing / Dairy Technology / Food Science & Nutrition / Food Safety or relevant specialization.

Deliver lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials in core Food Technology subjects such as:

• Food Processing & Preservation
• Food Microbiology
• Food Chemistry
• Food Packaging
• Dairy Technology
• Food Safety & Quality Control

Skill set required:

2–5 years of experience in teaching, research, or industry, especially in roles related to:

• Product Development
• Food Quality Control
• Regulatory Affairs (e.g., FSSAI compliance)
• Food Packaging
• R&D labs (CFTRI, NIFTEM, ICAR, etc.)
