We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Professor with expertise in Computer Science to join our faculty team. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background, industry experience (if applicable), and a passion for teaching, research, and mentoring students in a technology-driven environment. The role requires a commitment to continuous learning, industry engagement, and fostering a positive academic culture.

Key Responsibilities

1 Teaching & Curriculum Development:

• Deliver high-quality lectures, laboratory sessions, and workshops in Computer Science/Mathematics/Mechanical/Psychology.
• Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and learning modules in alignment with industry trends.
• Implement innovative teaching methodologies, including project-based and experiential learning.
• Use technology-driven teaching techniques, including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and online learning tools.
• Mentor students on academic projects, skill development, and career pathways.

Research & Innovation:

• Conduct independent and collaborative research in Computer Science.
• Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at academic conferences.
• Seek research funding through grants and industry collaborations.
• Encourage student research and innovation, guiding them in academic publications and patents.

Industry & Community Engagement:

• Establish partnerships with industries to integrate practical knowledge into the curriculum.
• Organize workshops, guest lectures, and skill-based training programs.
• Guide students in internships, capstone projects, and real-world problem-solving.
• Actively participate in university outreach programs and community development initiatives.

Key Metrics & Performance Indicators (KPIs)1. Teaching Effectiveness:

• Student Feedback Score: Minimum 4.0/5.0 in student evaluations.
• Course Completion Rate: At least 90% of students completing courses successfully.
• Innovative Teaching Methods: At least 3 new teaching strategies implemented per academic year.

2. Research & Publications:

• Publications: Minimum 2 peer-reviewed research papers per year.
• Conference Presentations: At least 1 national/international conference presentation per year.

3. Student Mentorship & Engagement:

• Capstone/Project Guidance: Supervise at least 3-5 student projects annually.
• Internship Placement Rate: At least 80% of guided students securing internships.

4. Administrative & Institutional Contribution:

• Committee Participation: Active membership in at least 2 academic/administrative committees.
• Policy Development Contributions: Participation in curriculum development or university policy discussions.
• Faculty Development Sessions Attended: At least 2 professional development programs annually.

Qualifications & RequirementsEducational Qualifications:

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree (with significant industry experience) in Computer Science/Mathematics/Mechanical/Psychology from a recognized institution.
• A strong academic record with specialisation in a relevant discipline

Experience:

• For Ph.D. holders: Minimum 5 years of teaching/research/industry experience.
• For Master’s holders: Minimum 7 years of teaching and relevant industry experience.
• Experience with online learning platforms, LMS, blended learning, or hands-on training is preferred.

Technical & Soft Skills:

• Proficiency in Computer Science/Mathematics/Mechanical/Psychology
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to mentor students, guide research, and collaborate with industry partners.
• Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and student-centered learning.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry certifications in Computer Science/Mathematics/Mechanical/Psychology
• Experience in grant writing and securing research funding.
