As a SAP BASIS Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of SAP and related infrastructure to ensure a stable runtime environment in a standardized manner. Your duties and responsibilities will include SAP Basis administration, technical support, transport and batch management, production support, system monitoring, troubleshooting, and system refresh among others. You will be tasked with defining, planning, and implementing system operations, conducting root-cause-analysis, performance management, and optimization of SAP systems. Additionally, you will proactively analyze the SAP environment to detect deficiencies, recommend solutions for improvement, create technical documentation, and provide recommendations on architecture and configuration. Your role will also involve identifying infrastructure needs, implementing optimizations, becoming a trusted adviser for business requests and implementations, and identifying, testing, piloting, rolling out, and maintaining the best technical solutions for business processes. To excel in this position, you should possess knowledge and skills related to adapting to new technologies in SAP products, databases, operating systems, and clouds. You should have experience with SAP ECC EHP, S/4HANA, Oracle, SOLMAN, Fiori, BI, SAP router, Webdispatcher, high availability systems, data replication, server migrations, SAP updates, kernel upgrades, system refresh, system copy, RFC connections, applying patches, performance monitoring, SQL tuning, client administration, backups, authorizations, SAP license audits, hardware sizing, and more. Ideally, you should have 5-7 years of experience with exposure to implementation and roll-out projects in an S4H environment. A bachelor's degree along with relevant experience in SAP Basis and HANA is required for this role. Your expertise in working with Windows and SLES operating systems, as well as SAP integration with non-SAP systems, will be beneficial.
