Application Developer

You are an experienced SAP PLM Developer with over 8 years of experience, specializing in SAP ABAP, Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP), BOPF, and FPM. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom SAP solutions tailored to meet business requirements, particularly focusing on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and various cross-functional business processes. Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications, utilizing your expertise in OOABAP, BOPF, and FPM to create scalable and maintainable SAP applications. You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from design and coding to testing, deployment, and documentation. Additionally, you will contribute to system upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting efforts while providing support for SAP PLM functionality and integration. As a SAP PLM Developer, you must possess strong hard skills in SAP ABAP with at least 8+ years of hands-on experience, Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP) with a minimum of 5 years of solid experience, Business Object Processing Framework (BOPF) with a minimum of 3 years of experience, and Floor Plan Manager (FPM) with a minimum of 3 years of experience. It would be advantageous to have exposure to SAP S/4HANA and SAP PLM (Functional Knowledge). In addition to technical skills, essential soft skills for this role include the ability to work independently as an individual contributor, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, a collaborative mindset with experience in cross-functional environments, and adaptability to evolving project requirements and technologies. Your evaluation will be based on your expertise in SAP ABAP and OOABAP (5+ years), proficiency in BOPF and FPM (3+ years), familiarity with the S/4HANA environment and SAP PLM (advantageous), strong individual ownership and delivery mindset, demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively, and hands-on experience across the full development lifecycle. This position is available as a Contract or Full-Time role with a project duration of 12 months. The work mode is On-site in Bangalore or as per project requirements, and the start date is immediate or as per the notice period.,
