JD : Perform structural analysis (static, dynamic, fatigue) of rotor components using ANSYS, HyperMesh, and hand calculations per aerospace standards (FAR/CS 27/29/25). Generate, validate, and release FEA models and ensure correlation with test data where applicable. Provide design support for new and existing rotor components including weight optimization , material selection , and design for manufacturability . Create and review MRB dispositions for non-conformances in production or field returns. Prepare repair schemes and substantiation reports in compliance with airworthiness authorities (FAA/EASA/DER/ODA). Interpret and apply OEM specifications, material allowable data, and standard repair practices (SRPs) . Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Design, Quality, Manufacturing, Stress, and Certification . Support root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action plans for rotor system failures or recurring defects. Maintain thorough documentation and configuration control via PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill). Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering , or related field. 3 years of experience in rotorcraft / aircraft engine structural analysis or MRB design . Proficiency in ANSYS (Workbench/Classic), HyperMesh , and basic CAD tools (CATIA, NX, or SolidWorks). Strong understanding of composite and metallic structures , fatigue/fracture mechanics, and aerospace materials. Experience working in an MRB role or close support of MRB activities (repairs, rework, engineering dispositions). Knowledge of FAA/EASA certification processes , Part 25/27/29, and standard structural substantiation methods. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specs, and material/process standards . Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to write technical reports and repair justifications .

Should have a basic knowledge in FEA 2D & 3D Finite Element modelling of simple, moderate and complex components Linear and non-linear static stress analysis (Geometric, Material and contact Linearity) HCF/LCF ,fracture mechanics, Modal, Harmonic and transient Dynamic stress analysis Strength, stability and Durability of components Damage tolerance analysis to estimate fracture life Should able to build/update FE Models in Hyper-Mesh. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Required Qualifications Experience in mechanical design & analysis of aircraft engine models Postgraduate in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace engineering with excellent academic background In-depth understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals Proficiency in application of ANSYS ,HYPERMESH, Unigraphics, software and Siesta is added advantage Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to meet stringent deadlines and commitments
