As a Senior Scala Developer Akka Specialist at our Pune office, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of complex backend systems using the Akka toolkit and Scala. In this senior-level engineering position, you will play a crucial role in developing actor-based applications and APIs, defining best practices for reactive and distributed systems, and mentoring junior developers. Additionally, you will contribute to architectural decisions, conduct design and code reviews, monitor performance, conduct root cause analysis, and drive improvements. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development of actor-based applications and APIs - Define best practices for reactive and distributed systems - Mentor a team of Scala developers - Conduct design and code reviews - Monitor performance, conduct root cause analysis, and drive improvements To excel in this role, you must have strong expertise in Scala and the Akka toolkit, along with experience in leading distributed backend teams. Deep knowledge of Akka Actors, Streams, and Clustering, as well as familiarity with design patterns and architecture principles, are essential. Knowledge of CQRS, Event Sourcing, experience with Akka Persistence, and Cluster Sharding are considered good to have.
