AI Intern

As an AI Intern at our company located in Kochi, you will have the opportunity to be a part of our Data Science & AI team. This hands-on internship is specifically tailored for students or recent graduates who are eager to apply their academic knowledge in the practical realm of AI and data-driven projects. Throughout this internship, you will be exposed to real datasets, engage in the development of machine learning models, and work with generative AI tools. Your main responsibilities will include assisting in data collection, cleaning, and pre-processing, performing Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to derive actionable insights, contributing to the development and evaluation of machine learning models, engaging in tasks related to data mining and association rule mining, as well as participating in the optimization and performance tuning of ML models. Additionally, you will have the chance to explore generative AI technologies, such as tools like ChatGPT. It is crucial to document processes, results, and your learning experiences throughout the duration of the internship. Collaboration with data scientists, product teams, and developers will also be a key aspect of your role. The ideal candidate for this position would be someone who is pursuing or has recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field. Hands-on project experience in areas such as data analysis, association rule mining, EDA, data science pipeline and model building, optimization algorithms, and generative AI would be highly beneficial. Proficiency in Python and familiarity with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, and TensorFlow or PyTorch are essential. The ability to effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders is also a valuable skill to possess. Furthermore, experience with large language models (LLMs) such as OpenAI's ChatGPT or similar tools, knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, and exposure to MLOps tools or workflows would be considered a bonus.
