Role > Admission Counselor – IT & Digital Marketing Courses


Job Summary:


As an Admission Counselor, you will be the first point of contact for potential students. Your role will involve understanding their academic and career goals, providing accurate course information, guiding them through the admission process, and assisting them in selecting the right career path through our IT and Digital Marketing programs.


Key Responsibilities:


Lead Generation & Conversion

Generate and nurture leads through social media, referrals, job fairs, and online platforms.

Contact prospects via phone, email, and WhatsApp.

Follow up rigorously to convert inquiries into admissions.

Admission Counseling

Conduct structured counseling sessions with students and working professionals.

Provide complete details of course offerings, structure, benefits, and career outcomes.

Consistently meet or exceed monthly admission targets.

Career Guidance

Help students align their strengths and interests with suitable career paths.

Assist with resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies.

Host or support webinars and workshops on career readiness.

Follow-Ups & Student Engagement

Maintain constant communication with leads and enrolled students.

Track progress, provide post-admission support, and ensure student satisfaction.

Program Development & Collaboration

Contribute ideas to improve counseling content and student engagement.

Collaborate with the marketing team for campaign effectiveness.

Stay updated on industry trends in IT and Digital Marketing to better counsel students.


Candidate Requirements:

Education:


Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, Marketing, or any related field.

Experience:

1–2 years of experience in admission counseling, education sales, or similar roles, preferably in EdTech, training institutes, or academic organizations.


Skills:

Excellent communication and persuasive skills.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with students.

Proficiency in CRM systems and lead tracking tools.

Basic knowledge of IT and Digital Marketing career paths.

Target-driven with a strong sense of accountability.

Personal Attributes:

Empathetic and student-centric approach.

Organized, detail-oriented, and professional.

Discreet and reliable when handling confidential student information.

Compensation:

Fixed Salary: ₹20,000.00 to ₹25,000.00

Incentives: Performance-based admission incentives

Other Benefits: Bonuses, professional development opportunities

Working Days: 6 days a week

Timing> 10 am to 7 pm
