Job Description

Job Summary:

The Account Assistant will support the finance department in managing daily accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting in preparing reports and returns. The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on accounting experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations and data entry in accounting software (Tally/ERP).
Prepare and maintain ledgers, journals, and vouchers.
Handle accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
Perform bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, and other account reconciliations.
Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory returns under supervision.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Maintain accurate documentation and filing of financial records.
Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments for payments and financial queries.
Support during internal and external audits.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com).
Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
Proficiency in Tally ERP / accounting software and MS Excel.
Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and general accounting principles.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills.
Good communication and time management skills.

Preferred:

Experience with monthly closing and reporting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
