Job Description

experienced ABAP PP/DS Consultant

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and enhance SAP PP/DS solutions using ABAP
  • Design and implement custom reports, interfaces, user exits, BADIs, and enhancements
  • Support production planning and detailed scheduling in SAP S/4HANA or ECC
  • Work closely with functional PP consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Implement integration between PP-DS and other SAP modules (MM, SD, QM, FI/CO)
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing code and configurations
  • Provide support during testing, deployment, and post-production phases

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in ABAP development

    (Reports, Function Modules, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements)
  • Strong understanding of SAP PP and PP-DS processes
  • Experience with

    S/4HANA PP/DS

    preferred
  • Knowledge of

    APO PP/DS

    is an added advantage
  • Experience with IDOCs, data migration, and interface development
  • Strong communication, documentation, and analytical skills

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with SAP Fiori / UI5 production planning dashboards
  • Knowledge of APO / Advanced Planning Optimization
  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or MES integration
